i've been dualbooting Windows 7 and OSX on my 10v for almost a year now without any problem. until my usb stick started acting up on me, Windows kept saying that it had an unrecognizable filesystem and OSX's disk utility repair failed as well
so i thought i'd go into diskpart and format it from there, but when i ran the clean command i forgot to select the usb stick first so it ran it on my hard disk
and so, my bootloader is gone, i've tried easybcd but with no luck. i know i have osx installed on my other partition but i don't know how to get there?
how do i install a bootloader from windows? help please.

Can you clarify if the bootloader missing is on the primary drive or usb and is the problem booting into Windows or just into OSX?

the problem is that my machine won't boot up into OSX anymore, even if I put a bootloader on a usb stick, it shows me Windows but not OSX

I'm sorry but I am a bit lost on your setup.

Where is the Windows partition?
Where is the OSX partition?
What boot loader are you using?
What version of Windows?

I have a mini 9 that dual boots win7 and osx using the windows boot loader. I am working on a 10v triple boot win7 osx and linux mint, having great difficulty with the windows boot but osx and linux mint are fine. For that I am using Chameleon.
