Default Mini 10v screen swap question - 07-11-2011, 09:38 PM

Broke the screen on my Mini 10V and decided to buy the higher resolution WXGA (1366x768) screen instead of WSVGA (1024x600) that it comes with. Installed it and when the computer is on nothing displays but the backlight. I double checked everything is connected correctly and it is definitely the same connector as the original screen. Is there something I can do to get this screen to work or does the graphic card not support this screen?

I don't think anyone's been able to do this. If you succeed let us ALL know where you purchased the screen. I know there is a different driver out there for higher resolutions than 1024X600, but I think the others that have tried said the connectors were different. Good luck!

the 10v CAN NOT be upgraded to 1366x768.....PERIOD.........sorry

thats one of the reasons I bought a 1010 and not 1011, I wanted the HD 1366x768 screen and I wanted the TV Tuner..none of which are possible with the 1011 no matter what.............
