Unhappy Hardware: Screen goes to background color on lift or touch on FL corner of case - 03-17-2011, 05:02 PM

Just like it says. I can be in Mac OSX 10.6.6, 7 Ultimate or UNR. If I lift it by the left front corner, it blanks.

For instance, if I'm booting OSX, it'll turn all milky white.
If it's UNR, it's all purple.

and so on.

I'll try the external monitor trick tonight, but I have no idea what is causing this. I did tear it down to upgrade the HD and and RAM.

Any help???

sounds like your video cable it either loose or torn/pinched..if the external monitor works ok then that is definitely your problem
