Default Upgrading webcam in 10v - 02-17-2011, 03:18 PM

Hi there,

I am interested to swap the DELL 10V webcam with a 2 MP one. I bought a webcam from a DELL 1525 as specified above, the bad thing is that the connector is to big compared with the connector from the original webcam.

I haven't found any information/topic/etc about an upgrade for webcam to dell 10v.

If someone can help with some informations regarding this upgrade for dell 10v, please post the link, here.
maybe someone knows a better substitute from another brand of laptop, compatible with dell 10v ....

Even if the connectors from both webcam seems equals them aren't.

Question 02-18-2011, 09:55 PM

is it really worth all that trouble for a .7mp difference?..sounds like a lot of trouble to go through to go from 1.3mp to 2.0mp...dont know how much difference there will actually be, I could see going from 1.3mp to like 8mp but to 2.0mp, I dont know.....
