I was planning to make an iso out of my Win 7 Pro DVD and then change it over to Starter edition - then make a bootable USB stick. There is a utility on the net that I found to do so. As I understand, most Win 7 DVD's contain all the versions.
I have heard that if I installed from that, the key on the bottom would not work automatically, but I could call Microsoft and they would validate it.
Anyone have experience?
