Default Recommendations for buying a 6-cell battery in the UK? - 12-11-2010, 05:33 PM

I'd like to buy a 6-cell battery for my 10v. Dell parts were no help so I'm going to have to buy a third-party replacement. I've been stung in the past so I'm a bit wary. Can anyone recommend me a reliable supplier (eg a good eBay seller)?

do you have Wal-Mart around you? (maybe order it online also), they sell a "Dell" battery for the 1010, just shave a little plastic around the locks and it is a perfect fit for the 1011, there are pics and videos how to do it, just need an exacto type knife and about 5 minutes..and your done.....the battery goes for around $62 (USD) plus tax and shipping I guess
