Default Longer battery life? - 10-31-2010, 09:45 PM

I can't find a 6-cell battery to buy for my mini 10v in my country and I was wondering if there are other alternatives like modifying the battery myself.

No, you can't modify the battery yourself. It's not just adding cells, you would also have to replace circuitry to indicate the higher capacity. Which country are you in?

in the mean time you can reduce the screen brightness and try to limit disk i/o as much as possible...that will help a little

PS. dont you have any friends?....or maybe relatives in other countries that maybe could get you the 6 cell?..maybe someone here might help ya?
