Angry dual boot from previous Snow Leopard Image - 10-25-2010, 08:05 PM

I was wondering if there was a guide to dual boot Mini 10v with Windows 7 already installed and the image of 10.6.4 from another mac. I tried to make a bootable USB drive but get an error when I get to 16 mins left of the install in Snow Leopard. I guess the SL disk was scratched when I made the USB image. So I copied my gf's HDD which is about 50gb and don't know if the whole process is possible. It seems like it should work but I am just having trouble with the whole situation and am getting rather frustrated. Any help is appreciated.

PS. I did have it working until I updated to wrong NBI. So I stated from scratch.

Using an image from another Mac won't work. You must use a retail MacOS X DVD. We have a forum section on dual booting which I suggest you look through.
