Thumbs up Can you buy a higher resolution screen? - 10-25-2010, 06:16 AM

I was just wondering if there was any way to buy a screen somewhere that was like 1366 x 768 or something like that. I just want more space on my screen and to be able to use garageband properly. (The virtual screen resolution trick doesn't work with garageband) If I could find one online I would be able to put it in myself. Thank you

Don't think so, but you can use any external monitor. Use a regular VGA cable or a VGA to DVI adaptor. Make sure you're using the monitor/TV in extended desktop mode rather than mirror mode. The 10v doesn't like mirror mode with screens of different resolutions.

the screen on the 10v can not be upgraded to an HD 1366x768..some have replaced the 1024x576 to 1024x600 or something like that but not to a need a 1010 for that
