Except for security updates, I don't like to install updates until I know what they do. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" I'm running Windows 7 Pro on my 10v. I have an "Important" update listed but I can't find any info on it. Before I install it, I'd be curious to know if anyone else has tried it or had any problem? I'm reluctant because it's an update to the video chipset and a problem there is BAD if the update goes wrong. The description says "Intel Corporation Display - Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset Family" It says it was released in September 2009 (I never saw it that long ago) but was published on 8/13/2010. When I click on "More Information" I just get directed to the generic Microsoft support page. My video has been working fine, so i've held off on the update but it never goes away, so it's getting irritating.
