Default Broken LCD, Help Finding Replacement? - 09-25-2010, 11:30 PM

Hey all -

Tragic story, dropped my Mini 10v on a tiled surface and crack goes the LCD screen I've been looking at getting a replacement for it, but I'm not all that familiar with the cabling setup/other specs that need to be met in order for me to do the replacement. I've been pouring over the Service Manual but it doesn't seem to be much help..

I've found this one on eBay for ~$50
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

What's attractive is a no dead pixel policy. However, I want to know before I buy that this will be compatible with my 10v. Anyone out there that's done this replacement that can tell if this will work? Thanks

sounds like it would buy keep in mind that you can not upgrade a 10v to an HD 1366x768 screen....that one there is 1024x600 so it should be ok and the 6month warranty isnt bad either

Thanks for the help! Once the paycheck hits this will be first on my shopping list And ya bummer about not being able to upgrade the screen resolution, if I'm cracking it open might as well be doing some upgrades.. but there is always the ram and bluetooth module..
