I've just purchased a refurbished Dell mini 10v which should be with me in a couple of days. I'm really
interested in 'hackintoshing' my Dell mini, so have ordered a copy of Snow Leopard in order to install onto my new netbook.
The netbook comes with Windows 7 pre-installed and as it's refurbished i doubt i'll receive a copy of the installation disk with it - unless anyone knows otherwise?
I already own a Vista laptop, so i guess i still have a capable PC at my disposal. I don't already own a mac though, so i will be attempting the more complicated of the Snow Leopard installation methods!!
Anyway, the question i wanted to ask was:
Is it likely that i'd miss Windows 7 if I installed Snow Leopard?
Or would you suggest trying to partion the disk and try to keep the Windows 7 installed and install Snow Leopard onto the second partition?
(Any advice on any of the methods would be REALLY
appreciated as i know very little of the processes involved, i plan to blindly follow Mechdrew's guide
