Default Struggling with trackpad - 07-27-2010, 09:23 PM

Can anyone offer any tips on the best way to use the trackpad on the 10v? Iam having difficulty, for instance the two finger scrolling doesnt always seem to work it sometimes jumps up and down.

Does anyone use the better touch tool software?

I recommend to you, go to Target Store, get the logitech mouse with usb flash signal. instead struggling on your sensitive trackpad. Logitech

I am curious how the new Apple Magic Trackpad would perform on the Mini10v. I realize it is $70 (plus a bluetooth module for the mini10v), but both my wife and I love the trackpad on our MacBook Pro. I took on the Mini10v to throw in my car and browse on the couch, no necessary use at a desk where a mouse is needed.

Thanks for the advice, but iam not interested in using an external mice. Perhaps I just need more practice with the trackpad.

I see two finger-scrolling works well with OS X, not Windows 7. In Windows 7, I use edge scrolling + chiral rotate which is easier to use. To left-click, just tap. If you want right-click you can set the bottom right corner to Secondary Button (using Synaptics driver) -> tap at this corner to right-click. Much easier to use

It's awesome. I like it so much better than the Magic Mouse I had currently been using.
