Default SD Card Size Limit? - 07-17-2010, 11:35 AM

Is there a size limit to how big a SD card on the 10v can be? I bought a Sandisk 16gb sdhc card which is recognized fine on my big laptop. When its on the 10v, its not read in neither Windows 7 nor OS X. I was able to put ubuntu on it and boot off of it, but I was having trouble getting the wifi installed even through an ethernet so I abandoned that.

The hardware should support up to 32GB without problem.

Does the card show up in "Disk Management"? (I don't know if it should ???)

Anyway, I think Windows is very uptight about SD card formatting. I guess OSX is the same. Linux doesn't care.

Try formatting the card with the Panasonic SD formatter (This'll erase all data on the card).
