Hi Dell 10v owners,
As i always was really pissed of when my LAPtop burned my LAP, i had an idea to reduce heat on the back of the 10v. Unfortunately what i did doesn┬┤t make that much of a difference, but i wanted to share this anyway.
Here┬┤s what i did: removed the keyboard, and stick some heatpads from an old graphics-card-cooler on the heatsink of the cpu/gpu/chipset, so more heat is "lead away" through the keyboard.
You can get those heatpads in most computershops, ebay, amazon, or from old hardware.
The keyboard definitely is hotter than before, which means that there MUST be less heat on the back
I attached two photos so you┬┤ll understand (i know it looks rough, i was really really lazy). The blue one in the middle is the only heatpad which was there before.
there you go!
