Default Data and/or Power from Touchpad and Keyboard - 04-27-2010, 02:00 AM

Can anyone tell me if either the touchpad or keyboard connector (or both) on the Mini 10v motherboard can be used to get power and/or data?

Say I removed the touchpad because I always use a mouse; could I hard wire something else on there like a GPS or motion sensor? Or even a USB hub?

Also; what about the SD card reader? Is this essentially a USB interface? Could it be desoldered and something be hardwired on in it's place like a USB hub?
