Default Dell Download Manager/drivers/bios - 04-08-2010, 12:52 AM

Dell instructions before uswing your new computer state to charge your battery and update Bios/Drivers. All Inspiron Mini 10V (1011) download manager has 32 files available with categories:
applications, audio, bios, chip set, communication, diagnostics, input devices, network, system utilities, & video. These are downloaded as .exe files into document folder.

Question is: If the computer is running just fine, and planning on changing the OS next month, should these be executed after downloaded?

personally, if you're gonna change the OS soon (you didnt say to what)...then I probably wouldnt worry about it, if all is well then leave it alone..most likely you will need to change drivers when you change the OS anyway, save yourself sometime...and just use and enjoy the machine until then..

Most of those files are just copies of what you already have. I agree with Rich that if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
