BUMP for epic win!

Just an update on my initial problem: sent my mini 10v back to dell, got a replacement within a week. Then, ordered an anti-static wrist strap for upgrading the ram. Followed the guide for replacing the ram carefully, installed retail Snow Leopard, updated straight to 10.6.3 with NetbookBootmaker 0.8.4, everything works perfectly.

Result: macbook mini!

Thanks to the great community for all the info. I love the little guy.

I am wondering if when you removed the hard drive to upgrade the ram if it could have caused the issue related to booting the computer up. I upgraded my ram and hard drive prior to doing the OS installs. I had my puter working fine with a dual boot for X and 7. I was checking something out internally and removed the hard drive. The next time I rebooted I lost the dual boot option. If I boot up off the disk boot loader image i can choose my Win 7 option and boot into windows. I tried to reset the active disk partitions and it didn't help. I was just wondering if the removal of the hard drive after things are up and running cause something to change. Common sense says no, it shouldn't but i find it interesting Thesevs lost his ability to boot after upgrading the ram which requires him to remove the hard drive. I lost my dual boot after removing the hard drive.
