| Junior Member Posts: 10 Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Western Michigab | I have seen this once and have looked into it. It appears that some of the other Dell laptops have the same issues. Many believe it is caused by software driver issues, especially the video driver. Here is a pretty long thread (other model, though). http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=92036 Microsoft also has a trouble-shooting page for this: Hardware Malfunction Results in System Error Message I also have a 11z and just updated the video driver from the Intel website (Dell's site has the old driver). I was trying to find the latest for the 10V and got confused as which one (945) to download because the 10V should have the 950 but there is no such driver. |
