Default How to make my 10 a bit quicker? - 03-19-2010, 12:53 PM

I have a new 10v, I installed the three month Mcafee, and installed Virgin Media PC Guard.

BUT do I really need VM pc guard??

You already have Windows firewall and Window Defender, is this enough

To be honest I just use the free version of avast. Along with the built in firewall in windows its more than enough I find and doesnt seem to use up a lot of resorces like a lot of anti virus software can.

I would dump McAfee if you're trying to speed things up. There are a lot of other options out there that would be more resource-friendly.
