Default My share of tips for Dell Mini 10V users - 03-16-2010, 12:41 AM

Feel free to add your own, i'd love to hear them.

1: Don't swipe a magnet along the right side of the Mini, really any place... especially the VGA port! - causes the screen to turn off and sometimes sleep.

2: never write on the dell mini with a mechanical pencil... scratches very easily

3: Close the netbook when going up stairs... right when mine was new I left a black mark on the wall.

1 - you triggered the lid close switch, which operates by a magnet in the lid.

When opening up the netbook to upgrade ram, bluetooth etc. If the connections are tight dont yank them like I did and strip the wires from the connectors
