hey all... first time poster. indispensable forum... i built my girl a snow leopard 10v in december, but now when she turns it on it flashes a black screen, stating that the battery is unrecognized. if i unplug the cord, it turns off right away. any thoughts? thanks |

The battery may be loose or bad. If possible, you may need to test the battery itself somehow or grab a 10v battery from someone else. |

I had the problem on my 10 (not 10v) and Dell replaced the mobo. They had me flash to the newest bios and when that didn't work, they sent a tech to change the mobo. |
