Default Power light interface - is it USB? - 02-19-2010, 08:21 PM

Has anyone determined if the power light (LED) on the left front edge of the 10v is using a USB interface that can be re-purposed? I'd like to add an IR receiver board that needs a USB interface, and would like to keep it internal using the hole that's already there for the power light. If it is USB and you know the pinout that'd be awesome to share!

There's a photo of the power light board and cable in the lower left of this photo. You can also see the motherboard header below the cable connector.

If this doesn't work then I'll use the bluetooth header or PCI-E pins, but would prefer not to.
