so basically you got the right stuff, I guess the 945GM is the chipset and the GMA500 is the graphics processor or something like that

Intel 945G chipset features GMA950 Graphic Processing Unit. All 10v have this chip

The 10v (and the 9) use the Intel 945GSE chipset, not 945GM. GMA950 is what Intel calls the graphics processor feature of the chipset (it isn't a separate chip).
