Well after a few lengthy phone calls to Dell on Friday and today i've been through to American customer care 3 times. After my ETA of the 17th was missed by 2 days. I'm in Northern Ireland i might add!
My laptop didnt get as Far as WalshWestern, as I had a lovely Dublin lady ring me and say that they never received the part from Dell... and my Issue was with Dell
I called Dell and i had to call back as the Customer service team were all on their lunch... alll of them!?
Called back after two and I had my case escalated to Logistics but theres a 24hour lead time on those calls and you cannot speak to a person.
So i called back again today and eventually got an answer for them, that Dell were ordering a part for my not yet delivered Netbook, possibly the UK powersupply that most on here have been complaining of and hopefully also a UK keyboard.
I asked to speak to a manager and Was told he would call back within the hour...i'm still waiting 2 hours later.
This is a total disgrace, If i had been contacted and told that there would be a delay on getting this due to a part requiring replacing, i probably wouldnt have minded, they have asked for my mobile number 6 times not including the initial order.
Patience is wearing thin, even more so that I see there are cheaper ones on the Outlet site now.
