Default optical drive ? - 02-05-2010, 05:54 PM

First off great site very very helpful and informative. I have a couple questions, i plan on ordering a mini 10v with the optical drive from dell. Will the drive work with OSX and are you able to install OSX with the optical drive and official mac upgrade disk or is it only with the several methods provided with the netbookinstaller and thumb drive and disk image ? Thanks and great site again.

Any USB DVD reader should work fine. You can install from the DVD - no thumb drive required.
