Question Tablet Modification Support - 02-05-2010, 02:07 AM

Basically I am looking to start a project of transforming my Dell Mini 10v into the ultimate table
My original plan was to buy a Dell Mini 9, since from the reading I've done they're a fair bit more easier to mod, in terms of accessibility and availability. However a recent speeding fine has taken a toll on my budget.

I've done some searching, and seen others have been able to use the Hoda 10.1" kit with some modifying, however I cannot find anywhere to purchase the kit.. I have however found something similar on eBay.
Clicky - 10.1" Solderless Touch Screen
So, now my question is.. Will this work? How much modification will need to be done to make it work?

So the touchscreen is the most important part for me at this stage, but later I hope to add an accelerometer, gps and fingerprint scanner. Have any of these been done on the 10v? I've tried to google it, but all topics are related to the Dell Mini 9.

Any help and suggestions would be most appreciated.

My question is though are the connectors on the USB hub really not compatible with the Dell Mini 10v? Aren't they supposed to be standard connectors?
