Default USBs stop startup - 02-02-2010, 01:28 AM

Ehenever i have a USB plugged into the 10v, the blue startup bar always stops around 75%. The bar wont finish until i remove the USB. How can i fix it so i dont have to remove the USB to startup? Thanks

I've seen that - it's when the USB device is not properly responding to the BIOS peeking to see if it is bootable. Most often it happens when I have a DVD drive that isn't getting enough power.

I think it's a Dell thing. My XPS M1730 does it too.
