Bought the battery, but how can I take 2-3 mm off a ridge that is maybe 2 mm thick itself?

OK, Took the dremmel out and ground maybe 1 mm off the tab. Works great!

My battery came in yesterday, I picked it up earlier today.

The latch on the terminal side fit and closed, but had to remove a tiny sliver from the other side so it would lock. Now it fits perfectly and locks.

It's charging as I post this. Only 4 hours and 15 minutes left to a full charge.

just got my 10v a couple days from somebody for $50 it was having the cannot identify battery error and windows was crashed. reformatted install windows 7 ordered the 6 cell battery from wal mart shaved the clips and all is well! i'm so excited to have my mini and for a total of 110 dollars!
