I got a new Mini 10v and Snow Leopard for Christmas (and it's running Snow Leopard as smooth as it could ever be ), Now there's these new Mini's. Anger?
If these can run OS X, I'll be ANGRY. I like the 10v, but this new Mini is beast, I like the /somewhat/ all black trackpad. I might just order a new palm rest and trackpad for that.

Did you get a 10v for Christmas? Did you know they were going to update them after Christmas? What's your thoughts on this? Let me know!

New models are a fact of life every year or less. I think it was pretty much common knowledge a new model was coming, considering how long the 10/10v has been out, and new chips were in the pipeline or available.

We've been discussing Pine Trail (the new Atom processor) in this forum for months, and it is well known that as soon as Intel launches a new processor, there are new models that use it. The only thing that was a surprise was Intel formally announcing the processor and chipset a few weeks before CES rather than at CES.

I delayed my purchase of the 10v and regular 10mini until last week when I ordered the 1012. I try my hand at the unboxing videos and will post on youtube with link from here.

Got a 10v last week after the new ones were introduced. Pretty much bought it to run Snow Leopard. While I figured the new ones will probably supported eventually, I wasn't really sure if or when it could happen. Got a pretty good price for a new one w/ overnight shipping and here I am! Don't think you should feel too terrible about it
