Default Simple Question - 12-27-2009, 03:33 PM

Hello, I'm jon. I'm new to the forum, I just got a 10v for christmas and I am very pleased with it.

I have only one simple question.

Is it okay to delete the C:\dell directory. On other laptops I've owned in the past, I realized that all of dell's drivers extracted before they installed and I never really cared. Now, I'm just looking for one more thing to get rid of just to keep this thing clean and I'm wondering if the particular directory is just a temp for the installs or an important one.

As far as I know, yes, you can delete that directory.

On my Dell desktop there are some useful utilities in there. Make sure you don't need what's in there before you delete it.
