Default Mini 10v SSD Question - 12-23-2009, 01:54 PM

Hi first post here. I just finished installing a 2gb memory chip and BT and I want to upgrade the HDD.

My question is is there a way to flash the current HDD to a SSD? I don't want to go out and buy a OS to do a fresh install.

Is this possible?

It's just like any other 2.5" hard disk - that it is an SSD inside does not matter. Use standard disk cloning tools, such as Acronis TrueImage. The hardest part is connecting both disks at once - a USB to 2.5" SATA adapter will take care of that. Or you can image your current disk to an external USB drive and then restore to the new one with a bootable CD that has the restore software.
