Here's an idea: why not order the touchscreen part for the Latitude 2100 from Dell? It should work in the 10v, since they're the same screen size. Current Machine: 2010 MacBook Pro 13", 2.4 GHz C2D, 4GB RAM, Win7 Pro x64/OS X 10.6.3 And I play with my girlfriend's Mini 10v ^_^. Interested in using MATLAB on the Mini 10v? Did he just write them asking about an MDK 10.1"? I've been looking into this all week, and from what I can tell, most of the kits out there are resistive touch screens, so this company really takes the cake. Couple that with the fact that their main demo is based off of Mini hardware, well it looks a lot better than anything you could find on eBay. Anyone else had any luck with anything at all? It looks like there is at least some interest in a project like this. Well, I wrote them inquiring about a MDK 10.1" evaluation kit, I'll keep you all posted. |

Stantum doesn't sell just the 10.1" screens. You have to purchase their Slate PC concept, which is 990 euro. Plus shipping. Also that is based off of the Mini 10 and not the Mini 10v. The 12.1" screen alone is 1,250 euro, so even if they did have a 10.1" I'm sure it would be hella expensive. Are you sure this is where the touch screen came from? |

I have installed a 10.1 touch screen in my 10v. It works fine under a WinXP virtual machine but the OSX utility does not recognise the controller. Has anyone else had this problem? thanks |
