I'd say the system board drivers will be the biggest block, Windows should be able to load a default video driver if the installed doesn't work.
I've tried this a couple times, and with no success so just wiped and started fresh. So I really don't know if it can be done, but even from different revisions of the same computer it's failed.
You can't just get the drivers, Windows has to install the device, and good luck on that if Windows won't boot.
Just swap and find out though, if Windows will boot, you probably can, try it in safe mode though.

Couldn't it be possible to install the drivers for the 10v, then do the swap?

the drivers are on the Dell site, you should be able to at least download the zip files and put them in a Dell Drivers Directory, then do the swap, you might get away with installing them first but I dont know, the driver install might check to see if the hardware exists before installing, I have downloaded drivers for my Dell onto my HP, never tried to install them though, I moved them over either thru my network or on a USB flashdrive...Good Luck though.....
