So I installed OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.2 and all is well after playing with it for a while. I used MechDrew's install directions with the external drive...great directions.
But then I noticed the known issue of not having the proper screen dimensions, which makes the bottom of certain apps unviewable. For example, the picture program. So I found the link somewhere in the beginners forum on how to re-size the screen to 80%. So I did it. Works great. However it appears that if you reboot, then try to use Safari, it will load, but wont visibly appear....if you then change back to 100% of the size in the command prompt, Safari works fine....Anyone else have this issue? Is there a permanent command to input to the command prompt that makes the change permanent and not have this issue?
Thanks,
Jeff
