I don't think they work so well as bootable devices, but I am not really an expert on that sort of thing, so I am sure someone else will be able to give you some better advice.

As you say, the Flash drive from Play is the same price anyway, although I reckon you might get slightly quicker delivery from 'My Memory'... but of course you still have to wait for your Mini 10v to arrive anyway!

I am sure you will be checking the progress daily!

Hi Montala,

Elsewhere on the forum someone reckons it will work - will give it a go and see what happens.

Good news - it's been shipped from Limerick! Perhaps will arrive some point Mon-Wed. Think i'll get the CF card loaded with OS X - SL and Netbookmaker tonight in preparation.

The annoying thing is that I'll need to travel from home in berkshire to the west midlands to pick it up as it's not being delivered directly to me for various long-winded and boring reasons.

Hi Mr Singh,

I am pleased to hear that it is on its way already... are the full tracking links working OK now, as they weren't before?

I did in fact post a thread about this some while ago, but it may not now be needed... but, just in case, here it is anyway: Dell Order Tracking Problems (U.K.)

My post #5 in that thread shows the UK delivery procedure, (unless they have changed it since then, which I doubt!) so I would have thought that you should be receiving that call soon.

I have Windows 7 loaded on mine, so am not going to be any help to you at all with OS X, but there is a separate area of the forum covering this, where you will find loads of helpful advice.

Anyway... so far, so good!

Default Thanks! - 12-05-2009, 04:31 PM

Thanks Montala - it wasn't working but via your instructions - it's working perfectly! MUCH appreciated!

I got it wrong - it's coming from China. I guess the packing list/receipt is generated in 'Limerick' which confused me a little - doesn't take much to do that!

Once agin, thanks - very helpful forum this.
