DOH! In my angst about the 1GB memory limit I overlooked upgrading to the n wifi option, so it looks like I'm getting g. I'm not sure that will matter much in the long run anyway, since my other machines aren't on n either. So having been inspired by gyffes' "It's ALIVE" comment, and browsing this site a bit more, I'm thinking, "Why limit myself to just two operating systems when I can have a three-way machine?!" I'm thinking a good name machine name might be the "UbutIntoshXP 2000" (the "2000" is for the movie Cherry 2000... and the short circuit scene I hope not to repeat while I've got the 10v's guts exposed). |
