Is this really that big of a deal. Yes, it may be simple to grab a screen capture of "performance" but you would still not get a feel for the device and the responsiveness.

Plus, taking the screen capture is easy but many people do not want to fuss around with uploading to YouTube or Vimeo to share

If the Minis did not perform well running OSX then there would not be so many people "Hackintoshing". Snow Leopard runs fine on a Mini 10v.

Good luck with your decision.

No offense, but I don't know what you mean. The 10v runs OSX and all the built in programs just fine. It runs Firefox fine. It runs Office2008 fine. How would seeing someone open a Word document or go to a web site help you make a decision? Get the 10v and take the 45 minutes to install OSX. If it doesn't work for you, install a different op sys.

umm, no. it's not false. it IS primarily to tee up for 64 bit applications, and there are other ways of cleaning out the ppc code to reduce footprint. i forget the name of the one i've used before, but i remember it only costs $13.

If you are going to spend $13 to remove PPC binaries, then you might as well spend $12 more and upgrade to SL
