I have not read this entire thread... but I would do it yourself!!
If you have any technical experience at all, then it should not be too difficult. Just be careful and take your time. It is a nice learning experience as well, for those who have not done anything like this much.
I did it myself because it is all a part of the experience and it was cool to take apart the 10v and see what it was made of along the way

I'm planning to do the deed later today. in addition to the videos there is a good step by step guide, with photos from the service manual, here: Mac Users' View on Hackintoshing a Mini 10v It includes doing the OS X hack, but starts with and is mostly about the memory upgrade.
