I do not know how this thread slipped under my radar. Thanks to the OP for taking some initiative and starting a FAQ / Best Practices thread. This will surely come in handy and I have really been wanting to start one up for a while but did not have enough time (or motivation) to get one started. On top of that, I am picky and would have wanted everything to be organized with links to discussion threads / answers ... glad someone else had time to start this up!  I urge others to contribute questions along with associated answers so that we can build a repository of commonly asked questions and their correct answers. I triple booted with OSX 10.6, win7, and Ubuntu Netbook remix using a GREAT youtube guide.. It's four 10 minute videos, should take less than 2 hrs to complete... Part 1: Part 2: Part 3: Part 4: Hope this helps people |
