Hi ME, while I'm probably not qualified to answer since I haven't tried to do this, I did note when I was installing new RAM in my 10v the same thing anguish mentions in his upgrade video:
Check out from 6mins 40sec. Basically there is no connector to install the card, and he did not see a SIM card slot on the board, and assumes that any card used would need an onboard SIM slot.
You will need to open the little hatch on the back of your 10v to check out your own box, but as far as I'm aware, if the mini did not come with 3g, it won't have the ability to take a 3g card.
As for your other question, if the card did work in the 10v, it would not interfere with your Wifi/bluetooth card (if you go back to about 6mins in the vid you can see where it is).
