| Expert Member Posts: 692 Join Date: Mar 2009 | Windows needs drivers but will automagically download them for Win 7. Not sure how that sort of thing works with XP. OS X has drivers for the airport card, which is basically an Apple branded Broadcom card. So it will happily run any Broadcom chipset card it finds, although it seems that OS X works better when it thinks its an airport card.
