Here's what knowledge I have gather and I need to double check it with you guys.
According to my reserach, I found OSX SL 10.6.1 on dell mini 10v has worst battery life than Windows 7.
-Mainly because of vanilla OSX ability to not able to speed-step?
-This would confirm that when they did the battery test by using windows 7 bootcamped on a mac, OSX actually outlast windows 7 in everytest. Therefore dell mini 10v with windows 7 actually last longer is because of speed-step?
Second question related the SSD
-According to Tom's hardware SSD
actually in fact use more battery than regular HDD. Mainly since solid state drive use a constant flow of voltage, compare to HD it varies depending on activities, is this true to the dell mini 10v?
-I recall the dell mini 10v 16GB SSD
is a MLC, the average life span [according article] is 5-7 year. but the SLC last up to 49 years?
PS: Just order a dell mini 10v with a 16GB SSD
and a 6-cell battery
