Default Why use NBI? - 10-29-2009, 08:54 AM

So I just got a 10v, and I put Snow Leopard on it using John Herrman at Gizmodo's tutorial. In that method, you patch (is that the right word) the installer with NetbookBootMaker, which I did, and now it seems to be working great. I haven't found anything yet that isn't working.
So, I guess my question as a newcomer to the 10v world is this: Is there any reason I should run NetbookInstalller also? Would I gain anything by it?

Just checking. Thanks!

If you used Netbook Bootmaker, you'll need NBI in some cases when you update your installation, sometimes to reinstall the bootloader, sometimes to reinstall extensions. It's installed anyway if you used NBM to do your install.
