I put the ubuntu 9.04 netbook remix on a usb hard drive, usb memory stick, and SD card. The SD card was mounted both directly and via a usb adapter. No boot! Not with any of them? Is there rhyme or reason to which devices will boot the Mini 10v? |

If you aren't presented with the option to boot from USB, then you probably have "USB Legacy" turned off in the BIOS -- it needs to be on... |
