I started my Hackintosh 10v with 1GB ram too..it worked good for just an internet device+ . 2GB offers more headroom to run some more apps.

so u think mac osx is better for me rather than Snow leopard? u installed it with the retail disck or a distro?

If you check around this forum DaMoha you should find a few guides on installing OS X (Mini 9 guides are valid too as the hardware is almost identical), If you have a working OS X install you can use the SL retail disk and NetbookMaker to make a bootable USB. There are other guides out there to help with the Windows brethren.

I wouldn't use Hackintosh distributions, you will get a much better experience following NetbookInstaller/NetbookMaker applications, as they are custom built for our Mini's; the Hackintosh distributions are way too generic and are too easy to get wrong and end up with a non-working OS. Having experienced Hackintosh when it first came out on Tiger compared to the support for the DM10v nowdays, it surely has grown into maturity.
