Default Desk stand for the mini 10? - 10-15-2009, 06:26 PM

Is there a stand out there specifically for netbooks?

As you can see from the pics below, I've sort of fallen in love with my mini and it has almost completely replaced my Desktop PC. So I'm wandering if there's a stand which will:

1) raise the mini up to a more suitable height for viewing/working.
2) provide better airflow underneath the mini to help keep it cooler.
3) be nice to look at and maybe even help with the cable tidiness .

So just wandering if you guys have come across anything which is good and functional and available in the UK for me to buy

Thanks for your help!

I've seen a few people use some of the cardboard laptop stands you can make yourself. Contemplated it myself a few times.

Cardboard?! Surely they aint too sturdy? I'm thinking metal like aluminium or a plastic compound. But if the cardboard performs then why not

Have to wait till someone chips in who's got a stand. Thanks though.

If you have a Meijers grocery store, go to the electronics department.
They are clearing out a Logitech laptop stand that would work.

I picked one up for $15 or so.

This looks good thanks, want the mini's screen to be in the middle of the 22" screen really. As you can see from the pics, the mini's screen isn't very user friendly down there.

Cardboard Stand for Mini 9

If you're still interested in a stand, check out my post on a cardboard stand. It fits the 9 and 10v.
