Default Price increase on dell.com/outlet - 10-12-2009, 07:17 PM

I just bought a mini 10v last week for 239$ Got OSX/XP dual boot setup(thanks to you guys), now I want another one. But the same model/color/hd size is 269$ That's 30$ more what's up with that?

I'll probably buy a new one since I can use the employee purchase program. They're 279$ new, but I'd rather go cheap. Should I wait to see if they come down?

There's really no rhyme or reason to it. Just keep checking it periodically and the same or lower price point will come up again.

What madhattr said. What they'll probably do too is sometimes raise prices when they're about to offer a coupon for a significant amount off or something. There's always a reason behind it, even if we have no clue what it is.

Yep, anguish got it - coupon code for outlet minis is good 10/11-10/13. With the price hike and then the coupon, you end up saving all of $8 off the pre-price-hike price on the base model.

Do you have a link to the coupon code?

It was posted as a thread in General Discussions, but Anguish has since created stickies for them there.

Yeah, but I never moved it into the threads. Completely slipped my mind, since I got sidetracked with something going on at home when I created those.

I sidled it on over in case there are any redemptions left on it.
