I might have missed the point of this thread, as although the 10v might take certain brands of memory rated at 800 MHz, I can't really see any point in installing this, as it will only run at 533 MHz, due to the limitations of the chipset, as your results show.
As it will in effect be 'underclocked' down to the lower speed, what is the point in installing a more expensive product?
Having said that, there might possibly be a small performance benefit, at least on paper, in using memory with a lower latency timings of (say) 4, as opposed to 5, (at 533 HHZ) although I think that the problem in trying to use the memory mentioned in the first post was that the Mini just could not handle CL3 timings.
Edit: Just to confirm; I have just found a quote by one of our "Super Moderators" in another post, which I hope he won't mind me repeating again here, which I think clarifies the point I was trying to make: "Any DDR2 laptop RAM will work in the Minis. The chipset will limit this to 533MHz but you can use 800MHz or 667MHz RAM without any issues... I personally recommend the Kingston HyperX 2Gb laptop RAM, but other RAM works great."
