I suppose you could always ask the seller for clarification... he appears to have good feedback!

I bought this one: Genuine Battery Dell Mini 10 Inspiron 10V 1010 K711N - eBay (item 260431243841 end time Oct-16-09 09:15:49 PDT)

but I can guarantee I didn't pay $182. I think I paid around $50 or so.

Anyway, it fit fine but didn't lock into place. Had to use a utility knife to "shave" off some plastic where the locks go in. I use it all the time now and it wasn't that big of a deal.

Good luck!
Tom

I believe that the 10v battery shape is slightly different than to 10 and hence the need to shave off that little bit on the battery. I know Dell has different part numbers for them but that doesn't mean they are or aren't different items.

Love to see pics of the fit if you have time (thinking of that for my spouse's).

You might have to shave some plastic off to make it fit, and it will (hopefully!) work OK, but do bear in mind that despite what the description might say these are almost certainly NOT original Dell Batteries.

As has been stated before, the batteries for the 10, 10v and 11z are not identical and have different Dell part numbers.

Still, not a bad price though!

I just bought a battery of ebay.

I sent him a question before purchashing to double check that it will fit the 10v correctly as well as the 10. He confirmed that it would and would be tested before he sent it.

After I bought it I got a message to ask if i had a mini 10 or mini 10v.

So just send them a message to clarify and hopefully they are as helpful as they were to me
